- 1.6 Communications: Records of support requests, dispute communications, and platform notifications.
We do not collect government-issued ID numbers, Social Security numbers, or tax identification numbers in connection with goods purchase transactions. ThriftHub does not issue Forms 1099-NEC and does not collect Forms W-9 for goods purchases, except as may be required by a change in applicable law.

- 2.5 Internal analytics and model improvement: Aggregated and de-identified transaction and behavioral data may be used to improve our pricing algorithms, item evaluation systems, and operational processes. Individual-level data is not sold or licensed to third parties for commercial purposes.
- 2.6 Legal obligations: To respond to lawful requests from government authorities, comply with applicable law, and enforce our Terms of Sale and Platform Use.
We do not use your personal information to train or develop AI or machine learning models in ways that would identify you individually, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Payment Data and Bank Account Security
Bank account information provided for payment purposes is processed exclusively through Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. Stripe maintains industry-standard security certifications and complies with applicable financial data protection requirements, including the NACHA Operating Rules for ACH transactions.
ThriftHub does not store bank account numbers or routing numbers in its own databases. If you have questions about how Stripe handles your financial data, Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or license your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- 4.1 Service providers: We share information with third-party vendors who support our operations, including payment processing (Stripe), shipping logistics, cloud infrastructure, and analytics. These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to ThriftHub.
- 4.2 Legal compliance: We may disclose information in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or government request, or where disclosure is required by applicable law.
- 4.3 Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of ThriftHub's assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice through the platform if such a transfer materially affects how your information is handled.
- 4.4 Fraud and safety: We may share information with law enforcement or other parties where necessary to prevent fraud, protect the rights or safety of ThriftHub or others, or enforce our Terms of Sale and Platform Use.
We do not share your individual transaction data, payment amounts, or personal identifiers with investors, marketing partners, or unaffiliated third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In general:
